ECSOFiM (Economic and Social of Fisheries and Marine Journal)

Welcome to the ECSOFiM (Economic and Social of Fisheries and Marine Journal).

ECSOFiM published by Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Universitas Brawijaya in cooperation with the Indonesian Marine and Fisheries Socio-Economics Research Network (IMFISERN). ECSOFiM first published in 2013.

ECSOFIM is an open-access journal, which became a scientific forum for students, lecturer, and researchers to publish the results of research within the scope of "Economic and Social Fisheries and Marine Resources". This journal contains research results related to the economic fisheries resource, trade and business, and social of fisheries and marine.

ECSOFiM accepted submission articles shall never been published elsewhere, original and not under consideration for other publications (For checking Plagiarism, ECSOFiM Editorial Board will screen plagiarism with using iThenthicate. If it is found plagiarism indication (above 20%), the editorial board will automatically reject the manuscript immediately.

Since October 2016 we are a proud member of CROSSREF. ECSOFiM DOI prefix is 10.21776. Therefore, all articles published by ECSOFiM will have a unique DOI number.

ECSOFiM has been accredited Rank 2 (SINTA 2): SK. N0. 14/E/KPT/2019) starting from Volume 6, No 1 (2018) to Volume 10, No 2 (2023). 

Currently, ECSOFIM also has been re-accredited Rank 2 (called Terakreditasi Peringkat 2, or SINTA 2) by "Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset dan Teknologi: Kemdikbud Ristek, RI" No 177/E/KPT/2024, starting from Volume 10, No 2 (2023) to Volume 15, No 1 (2028):(https://arjuna.kemdikbud.go.id/#/pengumuman/678)
